There is an area in Southern Siberia accessible for backcountry and ski touring during the winter and hiking in the summer time. Heights are about 1500-2000 meters, terrain is hilly and forestry. There is lot of snow that's why it's perfect spot for winter activities. Powder is best for freeride and backcountry, and it's fun to ride down amongs the trees. We did few ascents up nearest slope and went down on skis. One day was devoted to climb up to high mountain. It took few hours to go up, and one hour to slide down. Landscapes were changing when we moved up. From forestry kingdom we eventually reached area of white and blue.
