West Sayan is a scenic spot of Russia with alpine forms of mountains. Deep valleys divide ridges. Lakes reflect sky like a mirror. Waterfalls make a noise into crevices.
We will meet in Abakan, small and cosy town, capital of Khakassia. Then we will go by car towards Tuva (about 4 hours). In clear sky Sayan ridge can be seen from far away.
Ergaki nature park is a pearl of West Sayan mountains. For years it attract backpackers, campers and hikers of all ages, generally from Russia.
We invite you to explore this destination.
Altitude. Height vary during the treks from 1500 to 2000 meters. No need to be careful of altitude sickness.
Discounts for groups of 3 or more, returning members
Climate. Weather is very changeable, rains are frequent. Day temperature in July vary from 15 to 30 celsius, night temperature is 10..15 celsius.
Currency. Cash dispenser (ATM) can be found in Abakan, Lenina str. 60.
Registration. Each visitor to Russia must be registered in 3 days after arrival. We use registration service of hotel «Abakan».
Itinerary changes. Itinerary can be changed due to weather conditions or tourists state.
Ticks. Ticks are problem in Siberia in early summer but in July you can hardly find any tick.How to go to Abakan
- flight Moscow-Abakan. There are two airlines: Vladivostokavia and S7.
- flight Moscow-Krasnoyarsk (check airlines on momondo.com).
Bus Krasnoyarsk-Abakan (depart every hour from bus station). (takes 7 hours).
If you want to go with comfort you can buy train ticket - platzkart (takes 9 hours).
