Siberia Trekking - discover Russian nature

Snow coverage is not enough for this year, but we managed to do some good ski tour trips.

Main mountain of Sheregesh is Zelenaya with height of 1270m. There are several ski runs from different slopes alongside with off-piste skiing through the forest. There is a plateau near Zelenaya, and we did ski tour there with nice views. Trees are different, there are cedar pine trees, larches and fir trees. I noticed foot prints of hare, fox and sable.

Weather was cloudy in first day, and then there were sunny days. We climbed to mountain Utuya 1143m. Unfortunately there were noisy snowmobiles on the way. Luckily when we started skiing down, all noises disappeared. Lower part of mountain was quite difficult for skiing due to felled trees, big stones and brooklets.
